(WJBK) - The Elliot family donated almost 7 million dollars to Oakland University so the campus could have a bell tower.

A variety of bells weighing more than 15 tons arrived on campus and were lifted into the tower on Tuesday.

The largest of the 49 bells weighs 5,000 pounds and is 5 feet in diameter.
