Non foul sends Wolves announcer Horton over the edge

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -

The Timberwolves lost to the Dallas Mavericks 100-98 on Monday night and with the ball in Kevin Love's hands with three seconds to go, the ending is making national news, but not necessarily because of the Wolves' late loss.

Love was clearly fouled by Shawn Marion on the play, but didn't get the foul call sending Wolves Radio announcer Alan Horton into an absolute fit of outbursts (minus any "foul" language.)

The NBA released a statement on Tuesday morning from basketball ops president Rod Thorn saying the officiating crew made a mistake by not calling the foul and Love should have been awarded two free throws with one second left on the clock. Love could have sank both free throws, potentially sending the game into overtime, but of course, a hypothetical situation doesn't do the team any good at this point. Regardless, Horton's reaction is worth a listen.
