PHOTOS: The Susan G. Komen 3-Day begins in Novi

Thousands of walkers began their three-day journey Friday morning to support breast cancer research.

The Susan G. Komen 3-Day kicked off at 7:30 a.m. at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi. For the next three days and 60 miles, the walkers will bring their passion and perseverance to the Michigan community in hopes to end the disease.

Supporters are invited to visit any of the following public stops along the Michigan 3-Day route:
