Video showing an act of kindness from a baseball superstar has gone viral.

Unbeknownst to Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp, cameras were rolling when he approached a young cancer patient in the stands of AT&T Park in San Francisco, Yahoo! Sports reports.

Kemp approached the teen, 19-year-old Joshua Jones, following the Dodgers loss to the Giants Sunday night. He signs a ball for the terminally ill boy, who according to his father, cannot speak and is suffering from inoperable tumors in his spine. Kemp then takes off his hat, jersey and cleats and gives them all to Joshua.

Yahoo! Sports says Kemp heard about Joshua from third base coach Tim Wallach during the game and wanted to meet him afterwards.

The video was taken by Joshua's friend Tommy Schultz and has nearly 400,000 views on YouTube since being posted on May 6.
