Thirteen-year-old Tess Mountain had the chance to meet her idol, Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade, all thanks to a Facebook page.
Mountain suffers from a rare genetic condition called Cardiofaciocutaneous (CFC) syndrome that affects the heart, facial features and skin, but her passion for the Miami Heat never falters.
Last week, Mountain's family created a Facebook page called "Let's Get Tess to Meet Dwayne Wade." The page has accumulated over 1,000 Likes and mountains of positive feedback.
Monday night, Mountain met Wade and sat on the Heat bench during warm-ups. She also served as an honorary team captain and had her picture taken at half court with the captains of both teams before tipoff.
