Paintball vandals shoot up Roseville

ROSEVILLE, Mich. (myFOXDetroit.com) -

Orange blobs of paint can be spotted on several homes throughout Roseville, the midnight work of a paintball bandit.

"I was just getting ready for bed, I heard, truck go by, then (it sounded like) rapid rocks being thrown at my window," said Roseville resident Debbie Cramer.

Cramer's heart nearly stopped when the paintballs started flying.

The vandals had pretty good aim, hitting her Belleair street home and vehicles at least six times.

Nothing was really damaged, but it was pretty scary.

"I really thought it was gun shots," Cramer said. "I didn't know if it hit the window - I didn't know what it hit, so I was looking all over my walls inside the house looking to see if it was gunshots."

The unknown vandals were on a spree, targeting, houses, windows, and cars.

Roseville police confirming numerous residents reported being victims of the paintball punks. They say it might be the work of teenagers believing its a harmless prank.

But for those left to clean up the mess, the experience was anything but harmless.

"It's not a prank, we pay good money for our home and vehicles," said Dawn Weiss, who was also victimized.
