Adelman tending to wife in hospital

Minnesota Timberwolves head coach Rick Adelman has been absent from his team the past two games due to a personal issue. The Wolves released a statement Thursday explaining that Adelman is with his wife, Mary Kay, who has been in the hospital.

His status for return remains day-to-day. Terry Porter will continue to serve as acting head coach.
