DETROIT (WJBK) -- The boss said I needed a New Year's story, here's a list from a college of the most overused words of 2012.  Totally lame.  It had stuff on there like "fiscal cliff", "job creator" and "yolo", whatever that means.  Forget it.  I came up with my own list of Detroit's most overused words in 2012.

"Corruption" is a word I'm really sick of in Detroit.  The feds have been hanging more paper than an interior decorator.

I'm also sick of hearing the phrase "consent agreement".  Consent and agree mean the same thing.  That's like soup du jour of the day.  And by the way, nobody's agreeing on anything.

"Right-to-work" is another phrase that got overplayed in 2012, as well as the word "Kwame".

What does Charlie LeDuff say was the most misused word in Detroit in 2012?  Watch his video report to find out.
