The Timberwolves dropped back-to-back games in Florida as they fell to the Heat 103-92 a day after watching Orlando come back from a double digit deficit to beat the Wolves 102-93.
Minnesota played without Ricky Rubio who sat out the second game of the back-to-back after making his season debut on Saturday night. According to head coach Rick Adelman, Rubio will not play on the second of back-to-back games until he works back into game shape.
Andrei Kirilenko led the way for Minnesota with 22 points, while Kevin Love continued to struggle from the floor posting just 11 points and pulling down 18 rebounds. Nikola Pekovic also registered a double-double scoring 18 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.
LeBron James played a monster game recording 22 points dishing 11 assists and grabbing six rebounds. Dewayne Wade led the team with 24 points.
The Wolves return home to face Oklahoma City, the top team in the western conference Thursday night.
