Posted: Updated:

- At 5-2, the Wolves have matched their second-best record through seven games in franchise history; off to their best start since going 6-1 in the 2001-02 season. Other 5-2 starts: 1999-2000 and 1989-99.

- A win Wednesday night against Charlotte night would lift the Wolves to 4-0 at home; it would be the team's first 4-0 start at home since the 2002-03 season and just the fifth in franchise history.

- Through seven games, the Wolves rank 2nd in defensive fg% (40.8%), 2nd in scoring defense (88.4 ppg) and 7th in blocks (7.00 bpg); the lowest single-season marks in opponent FG% and opponent ppg were both set in the 2003-04 season (41.4% and 89.1 ppg). Two years ago the Wolves allowed their opponents to shoot an average of 46.8% and score 107.7 ppg.

- The Wolves have held all but one of their opponents to under 100 points (Toronto) and under 45% shooting (Brooklyn)… The Wolves have allowed less than 90 points four times already (3-1) and have kept their opponent under 40% three times (3-0). The Wolves have outshot their opponents in six of seven games this season (5-1). In comparison, the Wolves held their opponents under 90 points a combined 10 times in the 2009-10 and 2010-11 seasons.

- The 619 points given up through seven games by the Wolves are the third fewest through seven games in Wolves history and fewest since 2003-04 (2003-04 – 597; 1998-99 – 609).

- The Wolves have the advantage over their opponents in fg%, fta, ft, rebounding, points off TOs, 2nd chance points and bench points.
