MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -
Protesters with Occupy Minnesota marched through downtown Minneapolis on Friday afternoon, making stops at Wells Fargo and US Bank before settling in at 8th Street and Nicollet Mall for a rush hour sit-in.
The peaceful protest was interrupted by Minneapolis police around 4 p.m. when at least one demonstrator was handcuffed for interfering with traffic.
Most protesters complied with police orders to move out of the street, but about 15 people remained in the intersection at 8th and Nicollet blocking downtown traffic.
