MINNEAPOLIS - Even though the actual holiday is still a few days away, it looked a lot like Christmas at Target Center Wednesday night. Minnesota Timberwolves forward Anthony Tolliver became part of Santa's team by making sure several families have a happy holiday.
Antonio Skinaway had been counting down to this holiday party for weeks and now he's smiling like a kid on Christmas morning. In all 10 families, who've fallen on tough times, got a special holiday treat.
Tolliver played the role of Santa, spending his own money to buy gifts for each child and their parents.
"This is such a small thing to me but it means so much to a lot of people," said Tolliver.
On top of all the gifts, the families were treated to a catered dinner and tickets to Wednesday night's game in a luxury suite.
"Getting a hug from little kids made it all worth it," Tolliver said. "To see how happy they were opening presents. Getting some extra attention they don't normally get."
